CURRENT ENGINE

When it comes to engine, i know that all of you are eager to know what are the latest engine that are used by nowadays superbike. Now, let's calm yourself as I will explain to you each one of the latest engine that is being used for DUCATI engine.

There are 3 latest engine that I am gonna explain to you now. Some of the names remain the same but the specification is a high end specification engine such as Superquadro, Desmodue and Testastretta 11 which is being used now.

SUPERQUADRO

The first is Superquadro engine which was used by powerful superbike.

• Liquid-Cooled

DESMODUE

Next is Desmodue which was introduced by famous builder and designer for superbike patterning.

• Desmodromic two-valve
• Air Cooled
• 60° included valve angle

Monster 696/796

TESTASTRETTA

FInal Engine is Testastretta which was introduce in 2000's by Ducati. This engine was upgraded and high end engine rather than the old one which is Testastretta Evoluzione.

• Desmo Four-valve
• Liquid-cooled
• 11° valve overlap angle
• Dual-ignition
